How to Measure Nail Size
A: If You Have a Soft Measuring Tape
1. Preparation: Measure bare nails. Do not have any nail polish or gel polish on, as this will cause inaccuracies.
2. Measuring: Use the soft measuring tape to measure the length across the widest part of your nail surface (usually around the middle section). Ensure the tape is placed flat against the nail surface to avoid errors.
B: If You Don't Have a Soft Measuring Tape
1. Use a strip of paper instead of a soft tape. Press the paper firmly against the widest part of your nail surface and make a mark on both the left and right sides.
2. Flatten the paper and use a ruler to measure the length between the two marks.
